Bishop ft Marie E - We're Blowin' Up [2001]

I recorded this with my girlfriend Marie. There are some songs that I wrote about her that I will put here eventually. Sooner than later. The idea on this track was to merge rap with electronic music. No one was doing that at the time. And no that's not Marie on the cover. Why I chose some stock model photo and didn't use her, I don't know. I really wish I would have. The 1st quarter of 2001 it was topping the DAM CD Charts on MP3.com. It included a built in player on the CD. I was going to include the player on the page with the music playing. However, there are issues with web browers supporting it. What I might do is include an image of the CD for download. You can drop the files to a folder and run the Start.exe as admin. Plus, you can use the player and have it play whatever music you want. Just place it in the music folder. Then burn it as a data disc with all the files. Now you have what would have been a MP3.com DAM CD release. This part should have gone in the blog and I might move it over there once I put the player files here. I might put my project files up. I was working with the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) Logic Audio by eMagic before Apple bought them out. Marie always did this Grrrr thing to me. If I remember she did it during the recording session and that's how it ended up on there. So I decided to put it in the song. See if you notice where it is. Fact, she wasn't really into rap or electronic music. She was more into Stabbing Westward, Switchblade Symphony, Gothic style, Rock etc.
